KEXP Radio
Picked up a Panasonic clock radio boom box at Goodwill. The idea was simple: tune it once to KEXP, close it up in a box, and that's all it does. Cherry plywood I had sitting around, arcade game buttons for on and off, volume knob on top. To get there I had to remove the board-mounted controls, wire in a new pot and new leads, and figure out what buttons and pots would actually work as replacements. Now I can push a button and hear human-curated music. Delights me every time.
